Will I be charged for flat or damaged tires ?

Modified on Fri, 28 Apr, 2023 at 5:32 PM

Auto insurance policies don't include tire warranties, in short insurance does not cover damage from tire wear and tear.

So, for example, if you get a flat tire because you run over a sharp object your insurance company or the dealer will not pay for repairs. They cover the tire if it is damaged in the event of an accident and marked in the police report.

Our guidance is to replace the tire outside of the dealer (as is your right) for a better price.
